The mission of the International Community Band Festival is to unite the community bands of the world through the experience of performing together in a culturally rich environment.

Participation in the International Community Band Festival is by audition only.  Processing of audition materials will take 4-6 weeks.  There is no application fee and all community bands are welcome to audition.  However, audition does not guarantee acceptance. Space in the festival is limited and qualifying bands will be accepted on a first- come first-serve basis. Pricing will be determined by home location of each individual band.  After an ensemble is accepted into the festival, a customized travel package will be developed based on each band’s needs.  Groups who wish to make their own travel arrangements to and from the festival may purchase a “festival only” package, which includes: performances, meals, lodging, and sightseeing excursions in St. Petersburg throughout the duration of the festival.
